EMBODIED CONSENT

Event Details

One of the best ways to have great sex and fulfilling relationships is to be able to tune into the information and wisdom in your own body. When you know how to listen to your own felt sense of your yes, your no, and when it changes, you will be better able to share your experience with lovers and partners and ask for what you really want. (and find yourself in greater integrity with your truest desires)

Sexuality and relationship educators and coaches, Alison Ash, PhD and Dalia Perez, MA will guide you through a series of experiential/somatic/body-based practices to help you discover and deepen your ability to pay attention to what your body is telling you and how to put it into words. You’ll learn:

  • The relationship between embodiment, touch, and consent

  • How your body feels when you offer or receive a request

  • What yes and no feel like in your body, and what to do when your yes becomes a no

  • Ways to manage shame and shame-overs

  • Practices to help you ground and reconnect with your body

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have plenty of new tools that you can use right away to make your sex life and relationships better.

THE RADICAL POTENTIAL OF “NO”

Event Details

Our society tends to value YES's over NO's, but we’re here to celebrate the RADICAL POTENTIAL OF NO! When we expand our capacity to hear NO by truly learning to welcome it, we gain the potential to stay in connection in the face of disappointment, and create space to creatively explore our YESes and ultimately create more pleasure and nourishing experiences in our lives.

Sexuality and relationship educators and coaches, Alison Ash, PhD and Dalia Perez, MA, will guide you through a series of experiential/somatic/body-based practices to help you discover and deepen your ability to benefit from the radical potential of NO. You will…

  • Explore how both your body and mind respond to disappointment

  • Practice saying and hearing NO

  • Explore more authentic ways to share to disappointment

  • Investigate how saying NO opens up a space for new possibilities

  • Learn how NO can build trust, deepen intimacy, and encourage exploration

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have plenty of new tools that you can use right away to make your sex life and relationships better.
